Bernadette’s Shrimp is a favorite for seafood lovers and gives you some much-needed protein that will be sure to fill you up.

Start by warming up the MCT oil in a frying pan. Then, you’ll add freshly chopped garlic and sauté. After your coat the shrimp with pepper and garlic powder on both sides, toss it in the frying pan along with a little water. Sauté the shrimp on each side until the shrimp is slightly golden or to your liking. Top it with fresh lemon juice and enjoy.

For a filling meal, one dish you can try is the Chicken or Turkey with apples, blueberries, onions and Brussels sprouts. Simply sauté the following ingredients in a pan along with MCT oil, and for some extra sweetness add in some organic powdered stevia. Feel free to throw in some yellow onions and/or garlic for some extra flavor.

  • 2 apples (sliced)
  • 8 ounces of chicken pieces cut in 3-4 inch strips so that they can absorb the flavor
  • Brussels sprouts “as many as you like”.
  • Sprinkle the chicken with Vegetable magic and turmeric
  • Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon.

The majority of side dishes consist of an overwhelming amount of carbs, which can be challenging in your weight loss journey, but all you need is a few simple ingredients to complete your meal. This side can be added to any meal and served as stuffing if you desire.

  • 1 head of organic cauliflower (ground in food processor)
  • 2 granny smith apples (or any type of apple you prefer) sliced
  • 1/2 cup of organic blueberries (whole)
  • 2 onions chopped thin.

After you gather all your ingredients, sauté the cauliflower, apples and onions in a large pan, along with MCT oil, salt, pepper, and vegetable magic. For a burst of color, add the blueberries once the cauliflower is almost done cooking.

Feel free to pair this dish up with the Chicken or turkey dish. The combination of sweet and salty is sure to make your pallet happy.
